KNOXVILLE - A pedestrian was killed today when he was struck by a vehicle on Clinton Highway near Victor Drive, according to the Knoxville Police Department. Authorities were called to the scene about 9:39 a.m. and the victim was in "very critical condition" when officers arrived, DeBusk said. He was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center where he died.
